Saw this on the Playstation storefront, thought it looked vaguely interesting but I figured I'd run it through the "are people on Cohost feral about it" sieve: is Library of Ruina a thing

Amber, who is the gothest person I know and loves touhou, is into it, if that gives you any perspective?

My understanding is that it's a VERY VERY LONG linear narrative deckbuilder (non roguelike) with a cynical but apparently interesting story that also takes a while to get to where it's going (it being Long was the primary thing I heard about it)

Library of Ruina is probably one of the best games I've ever played even if it's too long by a third and best gone into with a guide for the mechanics.

The best way I can describe the setting and vibe is with an example: there are no homeless people in The City. This is because every night the streets are cleaned by the Sweepers, and they kill anyone they come across
