Won't be posted until after the first round of the playoffs is done, ofc, but I'm ranking the first round exits on a Suffering Index. I think the Suns might claim the top spot.
Still waiting on results on the last two series but I can't imagine anyone will catch up to Phoenix.
If the Cavs go down after taking the 2-0 series lead, they'd be pretty firmly in 2nd for me because hoo boy the discourse over their two playoff exits will be rough.
I think the Suns could delude themselves into thinking they can just run it back, but the Clippers also considered themselves meaningful title contenders until the very end of the season, and if they lose this might be it for this version of the team. Harden and PG could be gone or at the very least coming back as older and declining version of themselves, and their draft pick outlook is just as bleak as Phoenix
