Both EA and Ubisoft creating brands for their pseudoindie publishing arms and calling them ‘EA Originals’ and ‘Ubisoft Originals’ is so funny to me. Isn’t everything you publish done by various wholly owned subsidiaries? Do you actually mean to suggest your main franchises are derivative?

Everyone else works on EA Unimaginatives and Ubisoft Derivatives.
Ubi Originals is BS, but EA Originals does mean (at least in parts) publishing games from indie studios
Ubisoft Originals is what the company has been calling all their IP-owned games for a couple years now, not just published indies.
