Over on the bird website, I posted a whole pile of uniquely Space Station 13 bugs that I've discovered or been around for while developing for Goonstation.

These were originally posted as replies to a Jason Grinblat tweet asking for weird bugs to use in his talk "Before you Fix a Leak, Ask if it's a Fountain." Some of them have turned up on The Strange Log over the years as well.

Everytime I hear about Space Station 13 it sounds like the ultimate in 'Video Games held together with way too much glue and and a lot of prayers' and it sounds so funny

I worked on goonstation back in 2010; in my professional career since, I have still yet to work on anything with bugs as esoteric as the ones I fought back then. I'm glad it's still Like This!!

Ah! So glad this post found you. I joined up around 2013 so missed those real early days, but I'm confident in saying the game hadn't got any less Like This in the decade since.

BYOND remains fascinating to me; it still sticks out in my mind as having a very unique approach when it came to things like inheritance, the way that functions and classes existed in a file-system-like structure...

I didn't play SS13 but it's maybe the only game that can surpass Dwarf Fortress in wild stories. I hadn't heard of these before and I think the clown one is my favorite.

I think that's why I've been involved for so long, the game might change and the players cycle out from old to new, but the stories still keep me hooked.
