BUGHOLDER'S EPIPHANY

i will admit, i'm going to miss Cohost, but my hope is that we'll find our new ways to stay in contact and to keep the spirit of cohost alive. Whether it's through the source code having something hopefully good done to it, someone else making a cohost, or through efforts such as the website league or the Eggbug Message Forum (whenever that's set up, hopefully not too long!).

Cohost helped change how I view social media and how I interact with it, as well as how I should take care of myself. I'm not making things for the sake of an audience, but for me. I'm making and saying things that others can look at and enjoy, but it's not gonna be about numbers. It's gonna be about being human with each other. That's what I want, I think.

I wanna be human on the internet, in a world that thinks you should just be a stat. My website is a reflection of that. Maybe somewhere on my page I can make a cohost-like section that acts as my brain dump like Cohost did. A certain web component might help a lot with that..

I'll definitely remember Eggbug until the day I die. I'll have Eggbug in all of my works, I'll reference Cohost as a place in Withered Worlds, absolutely. Eggbug will be mentioned anywhere and everywhere as a friend. A comforting friend, a reminder of good times and as a sign of peace, as a sign of how things can be better.
