FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, a game that's been avaialble on Steam for a long time, and had stopped recieving any active updates for a number of years, suddenly out of nowhere just recieved a surprise update, renaming the game to the "Collector's Edition".
It claims to contain numerous bug fixes, Steam achievement support, improved loading times, saves over the cloud, additional language support, and 'digital goodies', which are all given for free if you had already owned Ultimate Carnage on Steam prior.
The most IMPORTANT thing about this update (if I am presuming correctly) however is that this update essentially removes that awful Games for Windows Live DRM that the original release had been plagued with, making this infinitely more playable right off the bat (and likely no longer needing specific mods just to get the game to LAUNCH.)
This was completely unexpected, but absolutely welcomed.
wonder if it works on deck now…
im like if a boy was a doll or a bug or a girl or some other thing
