new brood is starting to roll in! they started to hatch four days ago, and are quickly growing!
at first they were too tiny to see in detail up close, they just look like tiny chocolate sprinkles. i'm not getting as many hatches as i'd like, but maybe some are just coming in late. i have far too many eggs in my fridge (they take up a lot of much needed space) so i can always hatch some more.

as soon as i put them on their food (worm slop i call it) they begin eating and wont want to stop until two months from now when they are 10,000x larger by mass (other than periodic breaks to peel their skin and faces off, as one does)

on the second day, i could already see the size difference between the first day's worms and the newborns, but this was hard to capture on the phone camera as they were still only about 3mm long. if you zoom in, you can kinda see the lighter gray one on the right side, laying horizontally, who is much larger than the rest of the brood

day three didnt have much to note, just a few more lil guys!

on day four (today), i was finally able to get a focused picture of one of them ! i'm pretty sure this is the same big gray guy from day two

its almost impossible to see on the camera or with the naked eye, but they are very fuzzy! the hairs can be seen when you move a flashlight over them, but sadly i cant get a picture showing these
anywho thats all for now, see you guys next time i remember to update this !!
im like if a boy was a doll or a bug or a girl or some other thing
