its like a hardware emulator for x86 machines, from the original 8088 ibm pcs to I think a late ish pentium. its a lot of work to get it setup, but that's kind of the point, you can pick out floppy drive controllers or cd roms and give it a hard drive of however big and get the bios screens and POST beeps and everything. once you get it set up its basically like dosbox but much more involved, but I think the setup process is kind of the point. live your dream https://86box.net/
