this machine is a living anachronism and it defies everyone’s expectations
it’s an accurate looking remake of a 1967 table using modern technology. so what’s unexpected is the flippers have a crisp end of stroke, the lights are LEDs and not burnt out, it supports 4 players and remembers the game state between them, etc.
just heard about this for the first time from friends at the arcade last night, whaddya know.
i like how the player indicator lights were added to the back wall of the playfield! it looks classy, kinda like a buffer between the backglass and the playfield art. way better than trying to cram them into the backglass art
Unfortunately the machine also did not expect to be competing as it nearly lit on fire after a mechanical failure on Friday evening.
