a couple of years ago when i went to donate blood i was asked to take part in a study and if i would be willing to take part in other medical related studies in the future. and the future is now! i have been recruited to a different study about why some people have the bacterium staphylococcus aureus in their noses and other people don't.
this involves filling out a questionnaire including questions on things like my contact with animals and the last time i visited a hospital and then taking nose swabs over a few weeks. yeah science!!
