just realized it's been about 5 years since I started recommending people to read Always Human, so in celebration of (roughly, probably more than) 5 years since I first read it, here's a notice:
read it!! it's so good!!!!
It's a super heartwarming romance/slice-of-life-ish webtoon (and actual physical book! that I still need to get :c ) about lesbians in a futuristic world, tackling issues from dealing with stress to having a healthy communicative relationship to disabilities in a society that struggles to accommodate them. It may not deal with some of the larger scale issues brought up in the deepest, most critical way, but everything it does is done with really human emotions and conversations! Also! It has some of the cutest expressions and prettiest vibes I've ever seen. It's very much feelgood overall, even the sad parts leave a good after-feeling like dang that was a good cry I'm gonna go tell someone I love them
For what it means to me personally, I first read it in a pretty rough time in my life where I was struggling to get up on my feet after traumatic stuff and kind of relearn how to be a person. It was legitimately formative for my views on relationships and in general being a living being interacting with other living beings. It gave me more hope and desire to live and be better than I could ever properly put into words, but I hope I can convey how important it is to me with this and convince anyone who hasn't read it yet to give it a shot!
thank u for reading <3
