played thru new toontown today
gex is kind of fun, for the most part
the level design can be ehhhhhhhhh, it isnt abhorrently bad but it can definitely be rough in spots
the camera and enemy placements definitely can contribute to the badness
theres a tiny bit of jank and roughness when it comes to the rockets and sticking to moving platforms
i learned that eating butterfly orbs give you extra lives and theres plenty of lil caches that help boost up the lives counter
the boss is a big fart man you hit with anvils
i was also able to gain access to the jungle world early! but i still played through all of the levels anyway, because i need to experience all of gex after all
i am tolerating gex on a weekly basis, an alright time id say
