Cackling as I realize 85 hours into Saints Row '22 that this is the game all the meltdown babies wanted. It took me this long to realize they never use a gender pronoun for the Boss in this game, which made it click for me that there's no gender slider/toggle or anything at all.
Literally a game without pronouns.
Picture unrelated. I just enjoyed being able to make a beef-jerky power-loader and do circles on the highway flipping cars endlessly for a while.
One of your roommates does call you "they" in the final mission of the game, so it does eventually come up.
Also the gender-agnostic nature of the game has made a character fake-marrying you in one of the DLCs even funnier because the game just refuses to dwell on the details and you both hate each other anyway.
