Raiden V is kind of known to be a bit of a tire fire, and oh my god this voice acting would be insulting if I called it "low-budget". There are multiple times subtitles don't match the lines, I have no idea if I am the captain or if I'm being ordered around by him, at least once they've just mistranslated "Raiden" as "Thunder", and to top it off, there are at least two instances I've caught of someone flubbing a line, pausing, and repeating it.
Also, the always-online "Cheer system" is one of the most baffling decisions I've seen in a shooter to date.
But.
It has toothpaste lasers and for some reason on stage 6 out of nowhere it goes from a hard guitar buttrock soundtrack to Vocaloids serenading me as I attack a literal war crime laboratory? What in the fuck is happening in this game and did anyone even bother to get this far?!
