I love fandoms, art, otome games, silly little retro games, plushies and shoujo men.

I just saw someone talking shit about an otome game like someone forced her to play?

I am very much a prick when it comes to reviewing things, but I don't enjoy tearing things down or making fun of people's creation, and I know when things are a "the writing and/or characters are bad" case and "the writing and/or characters doesn't cater to me case"

I do think some specific things that younger people like today are "cringe", because I didn't grew with them. The same way people older than me finds things I like very strange.

You also don't get any bonus points by saying you don't like silly goofy entertainment. You don't get any bonus points by dragging a game because you "don't get why people like it". Just... stop playing. Like, the game was free. Would it physically hurt to just drop the goddammed "bad game" and move on?

Maybe I am being a little biased, because I loved the game the lady was shitting on. But, girlie, last time I wrote that big of an essay about a game, it was because the plot was full of racist, sexist and homophobic things (and I didn't even post lmao). Not "oh no I am too mature for this game so I will dedicate a whole post for it!! Look at me go!!"

Let women be "cringe", write Mary Sues, do whatever they want as long no one is getting offended or hurt.

No literally!! I've played some games and they weren't for me and so I just. Do the reasonable thing and put them down. They're clearly for someone else, and I'm just not in that market. Even if you do finish it for some reason like when people hate read a book, why go online and bitch where other people can see if it's just that the thing wasn't for you???

RIGHT??? I don't get people bitching that much on the internet about something they dislike. I got even angrier because she gave big "not like the other girls" vibes and it's 2024 lmaooo stop

I also put a lot of things down when I don't enjoy the media and I consider myself to be a little picky with games. I used to be a little bitchy in the past, but mostly to big companies making dumb decisions. But now I kinda don't have the energy anymore and I just realized I looked like a clown complaining all the time about things that I should be enjoying.

Noooooooo not the 'not like other girl' vibes... please... it's 2024... you don't have to struggle so hard to be seen as unique it's ok girl....

I'm also pretty picky with games myself, which works in a way since so are a few of my other friends, so we pass recommendations around. But FR. I'd rather talk about the games I'm enjoying. If I ever bitch about a game, it's usually more about the company (but that's just because I'm in comp sci and I got beef w how companies treat my fellow coders..!!!)
