A Date with Death is a game that I downloaded because... well, dating the Grim Reaper, that sounds fun!

The plot begins after another day where strange (and deadly) things happen, but our playable character remains unharmed. However, this time, a mysterious app appears on our computer. With so many notifications, MC's patience runs out, and we start interacting with someone who calls themselves the Grim Reaper and claims to have been after our soul for a long time.

So... they make a small bet: if he can claim our soul within seven days, he wins; if not, we’ll continue living normally and in peace. Whether our time has come or not… it all depends on our choices within the game!

Honestly, I loved the dialogues! I'm not a serious person at all, so clowning around and calling him babygirl was everything I needed. Also, they click together so quick I can't help but love the dynamic between them.

The game mechanics are amazing and I enjoyed all endings (even the bad ones because they were emotional!!!). I plan on buying their upcoming DLC to have more babygirl content.

YAYYY more people playing this game!! It's genuinely delightful and if I had spare money around I'd back the kickstarter for the upcoming DLC as well. I just wish it was longer, honestly! Which is literally what the DLC will fix. so. Guess I'm getting what I wanted LMAO

YESSSSS I love him so much 😭💖 I also felt it was very short (but to me it was coherent with the 7-days in in-game time!) but I had so much fun that it compensated for me

And I'm also in the same situation as you, no spare money 🥲 but I'll save for the DLC!!! Totally worth it. The video calls were so good and the text messages??? I need to see more texting in this DLC even if they live together lmao

TRUE it is only 7 days in game so it does make sense to feel short. BUT RIGHT the text messages are so funny and the video calls are just delightful. The whole scene where you just call him up to see him pout? When you bug him about his axolotl plush? Peak content tbh. I'm tempted to play it again tonight now whoops!!!
