I love fandoms, art, otome games, silly little retro games, plushies and shoujo men.

After going through some rough things in life, I decided to change habits to be more productive and less dependent of technology as a source of entertainment. I mean, it's fine to watch things, play games, but not all day like I was doing during my vacations in July, especially after my dad's passing.

So, I thought: why not write a bit about it? I'm going to list them:

  1. sometimes I listen to the same artists because they are on my For You page and not because I actively want to. I'm making an effort to listen to more artists now and it's amazing;
  2. I save a lot of shit for later and lose sight of everything in the end of the day. I'm literally going through every single one and I have a new fav song. Sometimes it's nice to just revisit things and clean them;
  3. having separated lists or folders for things makes me actively read what I'm saving/keeping and even reconsider keeping them. Autosave or only one folder makes things too easy for me;
  4. sometimes my code is shit and I need to refactor every single fucking line. It happens;
  5. I need to solve a lot of problems. Real, adult life is shit, and banks are shit, and I can't just ignore those things;
  6. I feel like shutting my mouth! I was a professional oversharer and I am keeping some things to me. Not having my face on the computer all the time is making it easier, because I'm not just a tab away of a channel to post;
  7. making tasks, managing goals, and keeping my progress on my journal.

I know it's not a lot. But I'm feeling already very happy with my progress and I wanted to share, because people on internet either acts like leaving social media and technology solves everything or like it doesn't solve anything at all.

I feel like it doesn't make your life automatically happier, but it helps a lot to pay attention to other things outside our devices.
