Okay so I've played My Candy Love New Gen for the nostalgia and for the little me that used to play the old game and uhhh

UX is great?

I guess it's nothing about the game being bad, but the characters not being my cup of tea. The corporate environment in real life makes us very fake, to be honest, and the game story being with work colleagues made me decide "yep, this is not for me at all"

I do have friends I've met on my job and if any of them reads this (probably not going to happen but anyways) please don't think I hate you. I'd just rather not date (or "just" bang) you because I'd feel kinda "???" with myself. I do love you, but not like this LMAOOO

Aesthetics are amazing and I love the idea of having a pet. Also black characters! I'm happy. First game had almost no black people, so this is refreshing.

Do I see myself playing this tomorrow? Not tomorrow, I have classes. Not this weekend, because I need to study. But maybe I'll come back.

I remember hating My Candy Love when I was eleven and thinking it was hella boring at first, but I changed my mind and now I love otome games. Maybe the game will grow on me, but please I need a breath of fresh air of work colleagues. Let home girl have friends outside that job. They don't even need to be love interests. Please let them be at least a bit present on her life. Just... not only work.

Anyways, if you don't mind the idea of dating work colleagues, of playing a little expensive game when it comes to micro transactions, and love the nostalgic feeling, give it a shot. It's free if you have enough patience.
