Well, guys, now that it's official, I'll need to share: I don't know many of the usernames of my favorite artists, so I guess I'll have to go back to Tumblr to see the good art (ugh), stay here for the memes and updates and use a Brazilian Misskey instance for the memes and local-only things, I guess?

Instagram is just to watch the videos my friends send to me. Tumblr was mostly dead... and Cara didn't work for many people, it seems.

Anyways, I was basically out of Twitter already, so it didn't change much. I was just logging to see my fav art and leaving before the bots came into my feed.

brazilians are fleeing twitter because the government is threatening to ban it outright in the country and I for one think that could be fucking hilarious. don't get me wrong I don't enjoy that people are desperately fleeing and worrying for their sources of income, but it's been years since the acquisition. the fact that most people didn't start making contingency plans and posting elsewhere like the writing on the wall wasn't obvious and full of fascists and nazi imagery? Idk I think twitter losing a huge share of its international market would be a net good for humanity, it might lead it to die off sooner.
