Sneaking in some terrain tool work between this last day-job week and my mandated weekend time-off. I'm happy with having come up with the three terrain-layering modes on display here:
- Additive: it just paints the entire shape of your brush on top of what's already there.
- Layer-locked: it only paints on top of the z-level you started the stroke on. Great for filling potholes and building up an oddly-shaped structure without increasing its footprint.
- Stacked: it paints UP to the z-level you started on. The only mode that can add multiple layers of depth at once.
