last night i was suddenly and powerfully filled with the urge to write really crunchy microtonal vaporwave, as one does
made things hard for myself by choosing a lead with harsh frequencies, but it was nothing some cuts and dynamic EQ couldn't tame
anyway it's called that because it reminds me of saving my allowance forever to buy a super nintendo in like 1992 lol
tuning is 31-EDO, scale is soft diatonic hypodorian
hey this is extremely cool and makes me feel like the reason i keep bouncing off of other vaporwave is cause i haven't found the stuff that's crunchy enough.

Oooooh this is really nice! It captures the distant vibe of vaporwave so damn well, and the harmonies are familiar enough to still sound "regular" but you can definitely tell the tuning system is different if you're paying attention while listening. Love it!
What sort of synth/DAW did you write this with, if I might ask?
