pourover - basically a manual version of a coffee maker. coffee grounds in a little cone suspended above a mug, pour hot water on zhe grounds, bam coffee

moka pot - percolation mezhod, kinda. lower chamber full of water, coffee grounds, upper chamber away from direct heat. boiling zhe water in zhe lower chamber forces it zhrough zhe coffee grounds into zhe upper chamber. it's a very rich, concentrated flavor almost like espresso

french press - immersion mezhod. put coffee grounds in zhe tube. put boiling water in zhe tube. let it sit for like, 5 minutes and zhe water gets REAL friendly wizh zhe coffee grounds.

espresso press - lots of work. fine ground coffee in a little cup (portafilter). squish zhe grounds into a little puck. using a fairly sizable lever and like 10 bar of pressure, force hot water zhrough zhe puck. it's divine
