I feel like a lot of people dislike stuff like skibidi toilet because "cringe stuff kids like" but for me it's a little bit more complex. My issue isn't that Gen Alpha likes it, but how unbelievably fast it got turned into YouTube content slop. Like it's a silly Gmod animation thing but it got transformed into finger family Spider-Man Elsa slop at record speeds. I don't hate gen alpha or their interests for being "cringe" I moreso just feel really depressed looking at how anything they become interested instantly gets fed into a machine to churn out lifeless slop. It's not a particularly new thing either, Gen Z was experiencing it as well but the rate at which it happens is way faster now. I just don't like that every single thing Gen Alpha develops an interest in is instantly used to exploit them. It just feels bad to see.
