When I was a kid and I had my autism assessment one of the apparent symptoms they checked for was "playing with toys oddly". They marked me as having this because there was a toy train with tracks you were supposed to build into a circle for it and i instead built a winding linear course with gaps in it where i would lift the train manually to do "jumps", and looking back at this as an adult i still maintain making my toy train do sick stunts is, in fact, the correct way to play actually.
