You can just not read posts on your timeline. Every time I start to read some flash fic or whatever and I'm just not feeling it I go "oh right I can just... not" and feel better about skipping it. Cohost has no way to turn off boosts from people, your timeline is probably crowded.
I mindlessly just scroll past shit all the time. Sometimes it takes 4-5 shares of a particular post by different pages to my dash before I actually read it. Sometimes it’s entirely brain fog and I feel bad, but there’s nothing wrong with it. You don’t owe anything your attention just for being in front of your eyes for a few moments.
