so far my biggest gripe with godot is that for some reason the like compiler (?) or way it parces filepaths is different when your using the like editor preview and the exported version. for example when your using the editor version the filepath names n stuff don't need to be case sensitive but when exported they need to be case sensitive.
i just feel that the in engine version of the game should be as simular to the exported version as possible

generally file path handling on the backend is a giant cluster fuck because operating systems are still based on fairly hacked together software. my guess would be that it’s probably not an intended thing
