oh the JetBrains Space automation DSL has autocomplete in IntelliJ but not any of the other JetBrains IDEs. which almost makes sense, because their DSL is Kotlin and IntelliJ is the Java one, but they make all of the IDEs so how can it only work in one of them.

also, the autocomplete doesn't actually work, even in IntelliJ. so it is real amateur hour out here. i saw references in the Space documentation to TeamCity, but it looks like that's big and crusty and Jenkins-shaped and i dont know if i want to fuck with that (and i'd have to either self-host it or pay $50/month)

this was going to be another reply but that's actually a bad way to do these incremental twitter thread types of thing since it just keeps pushing the whole stack over and over on peoples' feed so. i am instead giving this a tag
