I've wondered in the past why queer theory has so little to do with being queer, but I think I'm making progress towards figuring it out. in queer theory, the term "queer" is just a synonym for underrated. it doesn't have anything to do with me or people like me because it's not supposed to, the name is just a coincidence. "X is queering Y" is never coherent if you read it in the normal sense, but in the queer theory sense it means "X is good at Y". I wish they would've chosen a different term so I didn't keep mistaking queer theory for pseudointellectual nonsense pretending to be like me for credibility, but nobody asked me at the time, so here we are.
