saw a twitter ad for a service that claims to be "carbon-negative" and fuck it why not. if you can flush $20K down a toilet and claim to be carbon neutral, why not give an extra grand to your totally legit carbon offset vendor and be carbon negative

i love how many of the things are basically venture capital outsourcing too. a huge amount of the credits are about potential return from future projects, even if they fail (and dumped that much concrete worth of co2 into the atmosphere in the process)
