oh hey, in a stunning turn of events, Patreon's age verification system (Jumio) fucking sucks ass! it wants to specifically be the thing that takes a photo of my driver's license, which means i don't get camera controls like flash, focus, or Being The Correct Fucking Orientation that are required to get legible photos out of my budget phone i bought in 2020 which was probably built with a camera that would've been embarrassing in 2015. this might be the exact same vendor OnlyFans was using, i don't remember. how are Patreon so fucking bad at everything
