one thing that strikes me as weird about starfield is that the tone is mostly heroic adventure stuff, more so than other bethesda games, and yet, very often if you put a human enemy on low health they'll stop fighting and try and crawl away from you.
but the game still counts them as an active enemy, so you have to execute incapacitated & harmless enemies as they try to escape because quest steps don't trigger, you can't loot them, you can't fast travel with enemies nearby until you do
I'm just saying the previous game I played that made me shoot wounded guys in the back so I could take their ammo was Spec Ops: The Line
