the Jordan the wise thing is immediately followed by a joke about high IQ… I don’t recommend name dropping Jordan Peterson even as a joke, but it IS a joke, and he has even explicitly stated that he is not a Jordan Peterson fan
the dev posted a full explanation/apology where he says it was meant as "satire"

I was already uninterested in that game because of the Mario RPG elements, but reading this post and comments... Yikes.
Why can't we have games with incredible pixel art that are actually well written, designed, and not made by folks with questionable views?
Every time I read something like this, which is often these days, I feel tired at the state of "indie" gaming.
When the joke doesn't just miss it's target, but ends up causing a chain reaction disaster.
