I think a lot — unrelated to this morning's symptom misery! — about the guy who got hounded out of medicine for first suggesting they wash their hands in between the morgue and maternity ward, because "a gentleman's hands are always clean"
and the fact that, that specific battle notwithstanding, it's still the same profession, constantly swanning along on "a gentleman's assertions are always factual!"
