"four hours of shot-for-shot comparisons demonstrating plagiarism"

Oh, well, I guess that explains the length. But still. Your brains will let you watch four hours of literally anything? I cannot imagine that. I'm aware that my frequently tenuous ability to sit through a standard US 45 minute TV episode is non-normative, but four fucking hours?

That's like one and a half modern blockbuster movies! of the type universally reviled for being bloatedly, ludicrously overlong!

Four hours is literally "entire run of a traditional TV miniseries" kinda length! I am not capable of watching a single four-hour chunk of video, and while I'm prepared to accept in most circumstances that it's my brain that's weird, seriously??? four hours

I mean, I know it's not literally "you are not permitted to go and pee, press play and you're committed to four consecutive hours"

And I understand that an exhaustive documentary has value

But I genuinely stare, in a "this is not how my brain functions and it's a surprise to me how much of an outlier I appear to be" way, at the fact that even with breaks people can, are, and honestly? want to watch that much of a single video essay.

Four hours. I'll just...take everyone's word for the contents, honestly?
