Listen, I know I'm neurodivergent and the length of my attention span has both a hilariously large standard deviation and a dismal worst-case length, but I'm not imagining the fact that a four-hour chunk of information is too fucking long.
Movies, in the past decade, have crept upward in length in ways that basically everyone on the audience end consider excessive — toward three hours. TV still conventionally targets 45min—an hour. Lectures! Lessons! You know, conventional instruments for conveying information with at least some amount of cognitive and educational research backing them! They don't run for four hours at a time! If they need that length, they're not just broken up in time ("oh but you can just hit pause") but arranged in discrete subunits with their own beginning-middle-end structure that makes them tractable to the audience.
A single four-hour contiguous unit of information is absurd.
