What are we betting on the shape of the Venn diagram showing "haha Cohost has no discoverability problem, just search tags" and "haha tagging for any reason except Extra Shitpost Space is for cops"
You're here for the fic; all of it is also on my personal site.

i don't even know how to tag for discoverability for original works

Wonder if I could get away with writing blurbs like that 🤔
I'll never have to describe a story for an itch page again!
the only thing i hate more than describing stories is distilling them to their shipping tropes for views
seething everytime someone describes my favourite book as "lesbian necromancers in space" when the majority of the book is not in space and one of them isn't even a necromancer
(checks to see if there's a release date for Alecto yet)
(sulks)
on the bright side, today tamsyn confirmed on tumblr that aiglamene and crux never explored eachother's bodies.
and that aiglamene fucked harrow's great aunts.
so that's something!
oh yeah we have thoughts about that description...
and, you know, the general reduction of book marketing to "it's got these tropes!" in it
it's enemies to lovers!
what's the plot?
enemies to lovers!
is it like a fantasy book?
it's got enemies who become lovers!
Bonus! There's only one bed!
Don't you feel like reading it now?!
Why not?!
What is wrong with you?!
I love it when there's only one bed but like. it's not a description.
It's...yeah.
It's also, I think, an absolute sod of a book to pithily market; I can see how that happened. It's unfortunate that Muir's brilliance thereby helped cement That Kind Of Thing as marketing tactic du jour
i think gideon in a vacuum is simple enough to sell people on, it's when you get to harrow that it's like. ok just trust me the book will be good in hindsight.
