i have never been more incensed than i am now seeing people recommend charities to donate to today. i don't trust big old charities anymore, i trust mutual aid groups and bail funds and direct support to individuals. i never know where charity money goes because it definitely isn't in MY transgender pockets nor is it in the pockets of my friend who's literally staring down the threat of eviction!!
i wish more people had this mindset. i don't care about tax write-offs.
