I've badly needed to organise my files lately, but Windows Explorer has always been a pretty lacking and sad file browser, especially compared to macOS Finder (I used to be a long-time macOS user and Finder was the thing I missed the most moving to Windows, and still do).
Any other alternative file browser I've seen on Windows are less design-focused and much more about highly technical browsing and cramming functionality per pixel, whereas this one (Files, yes, that's the name) provides a lot of missing forms of navigation and interaction that you'd get on macOS in an interface that does its best to stay native to Windows 11.
It's still quite buggy, but I can actually do file organisation in a meaningful way with it versus Windows Explorer because it has things like a Column view.
