I am so fucking heartwarmed by how many people working in the hospital have stopped by our TDoV table and said something along the lines of "oh thank you!! I really struggle to understand this stuff and im tired of messing up as I know it hurts my loved ones/patients" before grabbing all the information we're handing out and asking if there's more. It's been the majority of responses we've gotten lol

The grandfather of a trans woman who just sat and asked all the many questions he was too afraid to ask her did make me cry haha

Hope it's not derailing to say this but something I can't help but notice is every time Trans Day of Visibility gets associated with an in-person event or action I hear only good stories of positive experiences coming out of it, but every time Trans Day of Visibility tries to get practiced online it seems to just make all the trans people uncomfortable

Like I have such good memories of our local TDOV event
