why fight about the exact definition of "roguelikes" and "roguelites" when they are just Solitaire with more lore

  • played alone
  • turn based
  • procedurally generated levels
  • resource management
  • if you fail, you have to restart from the beginning
  • the goal is to clear a spatial structure out of dangerous patterns

I'm sorry but a roguelike is just a fancy game of Solitaire
