the government is trying to establish a national autism network, and is currently in an early information gathering stage. they have less than 200 responses and the survey closes august 4.

this survey is estimated to take about 30 minutes or less, and is one page of free response and ranking questions. you have to make an account and verify your email to participate, but that's it. the questions are things like what the goals of the organization should be, who should be involved, what organizations they should be influenced by, and how decisions should be made.

at this point, they are working heavily with autism speaks canada as they're figuring out what this organization will look like in the future, which is why i'm requesting that if you're autistic and in canada, you take this survey and tell them what you personally want. if you, like me, disapprove of autism speaks, let them know that and suggest alternatives. at time of writing, there are about two weeks left and only 168 responses, so we actually could plausibly make a significant impact here.
