Last night, in the act of performing my usual daily offerings and prayers, I included the spirit of 2022 and the incoming spirit of 2023, said goodbye to the former and welcomed the latter. Adding that I welcomed it in peace.
And within 10 minutes of finishing I found something I thought forever lost, something that I missed terribly and would have never given up on purpose. A memento of my dad's.
