Anonymous User asked:

When/how will I figure out my job situation? (Currently doing a job that gets me closer to my goals, but isn’t great and has forced me further into poverty. I’m not sure how long I can hold on)

Hi anon! Thanks for your question! I’m here answering your question seven hours later—I hope you find this okay!

So first of all, your question here is pretty serious, and I’m glad to have it and talk about it! But please keep in mind that the rocks have been definitively wrong before, and that you understand the situation the best, so please take any advice or insight with a grain of salt!

The first thing that jumped out to me is that the stone that stands for health jumped off the reading circle, which indicates clearly here that its a negative, that your health is negatively affected by your current situation.

To focus in on the circle itself, the central rock here is the pink one, which represents the object of your question (the current work situation.) The closest rock to it, very strangely, is the yellow cube-shaped one, which stands for either “child” or “play.” The next closest is the larger yellow one that stands for danger, and the third closest is the pearl that stands for money. “Play/child” and “danger” are in a line with a green rock that stands for the world, travel, or nature.

I don’t know how to interpret this line—I wonder if “play or child” and “world, travel, or nature” are being descriptive of your job? These three rocks are saying something together, but I don’t know what.

Then we have another nearby cluster below it, which have rocks for focus or obsession (green), relationship (violet), and an institution or black-and-white thinking (black and white). This could simply be referring to the fact that your work is taking up a lot of space in your brain, or possibly could refer to someone at work (a boss or co-worker) who is a stickler for rules or hierarchy who is affecting your work experience.

Finally, we have a very important but literally sidelined quartz hiding in the edge of the circle which stands for conflict. I think in this case it stands for leaving your work situation. However, it’s placement on the border indicates “not yet.”

Altogether, the message here is conflicting: There is danger in your work that is affecting your health. However, money appears here ambiguously (whether it refers to an increase in money or just confirming we’re talking about your employment is unclear) and it seems that the quartz toward the top is encouraging you to make a break but not yet.

Again, please keep in mind that you know the situation better than the rocks and don’t be afraid to ignore them if they sound off-base! It happens!

If you want to reach out and say something or ask a follow up question, feel free to send me another anon ask! (I have another anon in the queue, so maybe specify that you’re the job anon, lol.)

Thanks for the question and I hope things get better for you soon!!

If anyone else reading along wants to ask a question, feel free to shoot me one at any time!
