For the first time in a long time, I'm playing a couple relatively long visual novels (Breathless Winds and Digimon Survive) and anyway, this has taught me that part of why I play video games is to fidget while I listen to podcasts or watch YouTube. But I can't focus on both a visual novel and a video at the same time. Now I'm like "Wait what do I do now??"

I've been "playing" Umineko since October. I love visual novels but I'm really slow at them. I think they require more dedicated time and focus than my modern brain can handle lately?
I tried Digimon Survive but I kept falling asleep during the first couple hours of the game 😅
My modern brain relates!! I have fun for a while but finishing, especially multiple playthroughs, whew. I love the skip button, ha ha.
The first couple hours of Digimon Survive are ROUGH. It's bad. It got better but also I just kind of accepted that like... I will have a similar amount of fun if I skim the dialogue, lol.
