๐Ÿ”ฎHere's a stone divination or lithomancy reading I did for @Khensaptah! ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Khen, you asked me for a general reading, so I asked the stones to tell me about your current situation. You are represented by the blue calcite, which landed at the top of the circle.

So we have an interesting intersection that was formed.

So the blue calcite for you is at the head of this intersection, I guess at the "north" end of a compass rose. Then on the west end, there's a blue lace agate that stands for creativity accompanied by the orange banded carnelian, which represents a problem, so together, a creative project that will have some difficulties. On the east end, there's a labradorite, which represents work--there's a lot of potential ways to interpret these three together--either the creative project is at work, it's a creative project that you hope to monetize, or work is the source of the problem with the creative project (I'm leaning toward the latter interpretation.)

On the south side but close to the middle is the citrine which stands for transformation, and on the south point is the fluorite, which stands for mental health.

We also have this little cluster by the fluorite to help interpret what it's referring to.

From left to right, there's the purple gem lepidolite, the white flower agate, and the "pink" agate (mine is mostly violet.) Respectively, they mean boundaries, newness, and a relationship. Together, they make a picture of a situation affecting your mental health (perhaps positively?) Either there's a new boundary in a relationship that is affecting your mental health, or there's a new relationship (or one that will start soon) that will require some boundaries or else it will affect your mental health.

So now that the cluster is interpreted in relationship with the fluorite, we can back up again and look at the big picture: I believe the rocks are saying you are at a crossroads that has the potential to change you or change your life (the citrine). I believe the choices here are between some kind of difficult creative endeavor (represented by the blue lace agate, banded carnelian, and labradorite) and a new relationship (or new boundary to an existing relationship) that has the potential to affect your mental health (perhaps positively). It seems to me that both the creative endeavor and the relationship might have their own problems--it's a real pros and cons list!

Finally, there's a green rainforest jasper that has shown up quite a ways off of the circle. (Weirdly, this happened to this exact stone in the last reading I did!) This stone can refer to the world or to nature, and it showing up off the circle means "no." This might be pointing out that both of the potential choices here seem to be very internal, about your personal life and personal projects.

Disclaimer: The rocks have been definitively wrong before, and my interpretation might be flawed! Please take all assessments by rocks with another very small white rock (with a grain of salt).

Let me know if this matches your situation at all, or if you have any questions!

If anyone else wants a rock reading or has a question for the rocks, leave me a comment! I'm doing free stone readings in order to get more practice. ๐Ÿ˜€

๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ”ฎ I did a lithomancy stone reading for @birdish! ๐Ÿ”ฎ Here is their question:

My life has been relatively busy recently, so I wonder: What's something should I mess with in my downtime (art/creative, hands-off entertainment, trying something new, etc)?

So, Birdish, how this works is that the object of your question (what you should do) is represented by the pink rhodonite (my "object" stone). You are represented by the blue calcite (the "subject" stone, which you can see on the right.)

The first thing that stands out is that the silver Tahitian pearl is the closest to the rhodonite, and it stands for money. A rube might interpret this as meaning that you should work in your downtime, but I think the opposite: I think clearly this clearly means you should spend some money. But what to spend it on?

Around the rhodonite there's a very interesting triangle of rocks about even distances from the rhodonite: A brown river rock, a "pink" agate (mine is mostly violet), and a purple "gem" lepidolite. The river rock refers to the household and/or "adulting," the agate refers to relationships, and the lepidolite refers to boundaries. Nearby the river rock is a banded carnelian, which refers to a problem. Nearby the lepidolite is the blue calcite, which stands for you.

The picture that is forming for me is that there's a problem around the household, maybe some kind of delayed household project, that should be worked on with another person, maybe someone you live with or someone else should be brought in to help, maybe someone you know who is more experienced in this area or a professional.

Additionally, there is a somewhat creative aspect to this project, as the blue lace agate (on the top left) has shown up, but only on the periphery of the project.

The one thing that I don't know what to do with is the presence of the "boundaries" lepidolite showing up in the prominent triangle, especially since it's so close to the blue calcite representing you. Perhaps the project is in your room? Or it's related to having a more harmonious relationship with those you live with?

Finally:

The rainforest jasper showed up off the edge of the circle--this stone means nature, and because of it's placement, it's effectively saying "no nature." That tells me this project is indoors, which is agreeing with the river rock about the project being household related.

Disclaimer: The interpretation is based on the rocks, and not necessarily what I advise, and I personally am appalled at their decision to advise Birdish to do chores in their precious downtime. I think they should do something relaxing, like freak their friends out by sending anonymous letters written with letters cut out from magazines.

Birdish, let me know if this matches your situation at all if you want, or let me know if I need to buy some rocks with meanings like "relax" and "have fun." ๐Ÿ˜… (It's also possible that the rocks are ignoring your question about your downtime, and are talking about something else going on in your life, like some of the things that have been keeping you busy.)

If anyone else wants bad rock advice from me, leave me a comment! I'm doing free stone readings in order to get more practice. ๐Ÿ˜€
๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ”ฎ

And by "free," I mean that no one should pay for lithomancy from me. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚
So I'm learning a new divination game which is stone casting, or lithomancy. I'm trying to practice my interpretation and get a sense for what's missing from my readings. Here's an example of one of my lithomancy readings.
If you, random person who stumbled onto this post, have a question for me to do a casting about, please leave a comment! I wish I could give you an option to privately send me a question, but it looks like cohost doesn't have private messages!
Here's some examples of the kinds of things that you can ask:

  • for advice (general or specific) or insight into a situation
  • about a relationship, money, work, health, or the future
  • a yes or no question
  • something definitive that you know the answer to (i.e. "What is my favorite color?" "What did I do yesterday?" "What is my gender?" ...you can also ask these questions if you don't know the answer, lol.)

...or anything else you can think of.
The rocks (and my interpretations) are 100% capable of being wrong (it has happened, lol), so it's all for fun.
Random note: I don't use all of the rocks above in lithomancy, especially not the small sharp ones. ๐Ÿ˜…
