Jennifer Knapp, who was a major Christian artist in the late 90s/early 2000s and came out as a lesbian in 2010, rerecorded her first album Kansas for its 25th anniversary and her lesbian album cover glow-up is extremely on point
(She wrote a memoir about her career/life/sexuality in 2014 called "Facing the Music" which was super good.)
Do you ever think about how in 1997, the Goo Goo Dolls guy wrote a song that was supposed to be about a NICHOLAS CAGE MOVIE (“City of Angels”) where Cage deciding to stop being AN ANGEL in order to be with Meg Ryan (which, fair) and wrote like one of the queerest songs ever to do numbers on the 90s Billboard
