A convergence of things has gotten me back to tooting around on Mastodon, namely some great developments in the third-party app space and a lot of people hopping over there. I liked my time using it 5-ish years ago but using it on-the-go back then was a pain and I felt really isolated. That is no longer the case and just over this weekend I've had just about as many fun and meaningful interactions on it as I had in my 12+ years on twitter.
