I've been a big twitter user, to the point that it is basically the only social media I use (the only other platform I kind of use is Snapchat, but that's because it is still the fastest way to send people photos imo). It was never a fantastic platform, but it did the things I wanted it to do well enough.

That seems to have changed dramatically and quickly with the Elon acquisition. Everyone is talking about the twitter blue stuff being fucked (which it absolutely is), but I'm also noticing that my feed just seems like it updates with fewer things I want to see less often. Part of me thinks I could be imagining it, but even if that's the case it's probably a sign that I shouldn't be there anymore. There are plenty of reasons to leave, and there seem to be new ones popping up every day.

I probably won't quit it cold turkey, but as I decrease my usage I will probably start doing more here than posting music. This site seems cool and seems to be getting better all the time. I like that.
