wrote this one while helping a friend through an incredibly rough day, which helped me process my own feelings on the matter. I write a lot of stuff that's intended to evoke or communicate stronger emotions, but most of the time I'm not actively feeling those things elsewhere in my life as I write. It's a unique piece among my work by merit of being the first microtonal piece of music that I've ever written, but to me, it stands out far more because of how grounded it is in real emotion. I think it'll be a favorite of mine for a long time.
