what do you all think about donuts? I got a 150y four-pack of donuts from the conbini this morning, half plain, half chocolate, all lightly glazed.

my reference point for glazed donuts are the free glazed donuts that the krispy kreme near my house gave out when I was in high school. they were glazed so hard that like 100 years later I still am antsy about glazed donuts. they are just too sweet and it builds up my sweet tolerance really fast (like when the first 50% of a milkshake is really good and the last 50% is like, please no more)

anyway it was a very filling 150y, though of course my favorite donut is still the angel french from mister donut (a cruller filled with cream and half-chocolated. I suppose I cannot use this donut in a security question now). I don't think I would buy it again, even the light glazing is just too much without something else to cut it. egg bread reigns supreme for my breakfasts still

in reply to @canon's post:

I like apple fritters and soft donuts filled with creme. Timbits are good as long as they're still fluffy and not just hardened balls of sugary dough. Glaze is okay but I much prefer powder or just a good dough.

I was about to reply with my donut preferences and then I realized that was actually my original post

you have awakened the part of me that used to go to a hostess outlet store and get some dirt-cheap (reject? idk why outlet stores are cheap) powdered donuts. it gets everywhere but it tastes great, i.e. like sugar

would give a +1 to fluffy donut holes too
